Software we build and run.
Alongside client work we design, ship and operate our own software. Every one of these is live at its own domain, funded by us and maintained by us. Client builds are on our work page.
carFlippy
Motoring SaaSOur own UK vehicle app: read a plate against the MOT record, work out a realistic sale range, or paste a used-car advert and rebuild its margin after every cost that follows the asking price.
- Three tools with three jobs: registration and MOT check, value calculator, and a listing checker for AutoTrader, Gumtree, eBay Motors and Facebook adverts
- Recorded facts, observed condition and calculated costs kept visibly apart, so an estimate is never dressed up as a guarantee
- A free tier with a three-car garage and MOT reminders, then paid plans at £4.99 and £14.99 a month
- Next.js end to end: accounts, subscriptions, a custom data pipeline and an automated discovery engine
Cavri
Reselling SaaSA workspace for UK Vinted sellers. Import a whole wardrobe once, then change fifty prices in one action, relist what has gone quiet, and answer every offer from one list instead of ten tabs.
- Bulk edit, relist and price rounds across a whole wardrobe, under a daily action ceiling the seller sets
- Every open offer in one list against what the item cost and the floor set for it, with the automation off by default
- The Vinted login never leaves the seller's browser, because a paired Chrome extension does the writing
- Blunt about its own limits: a relist loses the likes, it never messages buyers, and it promises nobody more sales
BCP Directory
Local DirectoryA directory for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, still early in its life. Listings are going in week by week, and each one shows where its details came from rather than asserting them.
- Search by category, business name or area, with a map across all three towns
- Free for a business to claim its own listing and correct whatever is wrong on it
- Every listing carries its source, so a wrong opening time can be traced instead of argued about
- Next.js on Railway with PostGIS behind the mapping, and magic-link sign-in
OneBridal
Retail SaaSShop software for bridal and formalwear retail. It works backwards from the wedding date, so a boutique knows the last safe day to place each order before a slipped lead time costs it money.
- Appointments, the whole wedding party's record, special orders, deposits, alterations and hire in one system
- A sample never decrements on a sale, because the gown on the rail is not stock
- Balances derived from an append-only ledger, so no number can be quietly overwritten
- In development with a founding Dorset boutique, launching 2027, with data migration included
What running our own software buys a client.
A products page is easy to read as showing off. It is on this site for a more practical reason: the habits below came from operating software we cannot walk away from.
We run production, not just deliver it
A client app is not the first time we have had to handle a failed payment, a migration that has to run at 3am, or a third-party API that changes shape without warning. We carry pagers for our own software, which is why the boring parts of a client build get taken seriously.
The tooling gets tested on us first
Billing, structured data, cookieless analytics, magic-link sign-in and the deployment pipeline all run on our own products before they go anywhere near a client's site. If something is fragile, it breaks on our revenue rather than on yours.
We know what a small budget buys
Building products we fund ourselves is a fast education in what is worth paying for and what is a nice idea that never earns its keep. It is the same judgement we bring to scoping your project, which is usually a shorter list than you expect.
Common questions about our products
Can I use these, or are they just demos?
Most of them. carFlippy is live with a free tier and paid plans. BCP Directory is free to search and free for a business to claim its listing. Cavri is open on its free tier, and its paid plans are deliberately not switched on yet, so nobody is being charged for it. OneBridal is the exception: still in development with its founding boutique, and not open for sign-ups.
Why does a web design agency run its own products?
Because it keeps us honest about what software actually costs to run. Anyone can ship a site and walk away. Running our own products means we live with the maintenance, the hosting bills and the support requests, and that experience is what we bring to a client build rather than a set of opinions we have never had to pay for.
Can you build something like this for us?
Yes, that is our custom web apps service. An MVP starts from £1,000 and a production build from £2,500, plus Care & Maintenance from £199 a month once it is live. We scope it properly first and tell you honestly if what you want is bigger than the budget in front of it.
When will OneBridal be available?
We are targeting 2027, working with a founding boutique in Dorset to get the workflow right before opening it more widely. We deliberately do not publish adoption figures or results for it, because it has not launched and there is nothing real to report yet.
Do you have other products in development?
Yes, but they are not listed here. Nothing goes on this page until it is publicly reachable at its own domain and honestly described there, because that page is the limit of what we are willing to claim. Teasers for unreleased software are how portfolios stop being trustworthy.
