Every study measures real Dorset businesses at scale using the same public tools Google uses — PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse for performance and Core Web Vitals, and Google Business Profile data for local visibility. The work is methodology-led: we publish the sample size, how we sampled, and the scoring, so anyone can check our numbers.
The data is free to read and licensed CC BY 4.0 — business owners, agencies and Dorset press are welcome to cite it. Each edition is re-run annually, so the year-on-year trends are genuine rather than one-off snapshots.
