E-commerce Development that converts

Custom-stack and Shopify e-commerce for UK businesses — built to sell, not just to look good. Fully managed hosting, no platform lock-in, no per-transaction fees you do not have to pay.

What we build

Built to sell, not to template

Every shop is scoped around your products, your customers and your existing business tools — not adapted from a starter theme.

Custom-stack online shops

Built in Next.js with a proper database, cart and checkout — no platform fees, no per-transaction cuts, fully managed and hosted by us.

Shopify builds and migrations

Custom Shopify themes, headless Shopify, or Shopify migrations from WooCommerce and other platforms. Proper builds, not off-the-shelf themes.

Product catalogue management

CMS-driven product pages, variant management, stock levels and pricing rules — structured for large catalogues and easy ongoing maintenance.

Stripe and payment integrations

Stripe checkout, subscriptions, buy-now-pay-later, multi-currency and tax-handling. Payments that work exactly how your business needs them to.

Conversion rate optimisation

Checkout flow design, product page layout, upsells, trust signals and A/B testing foundations — built to convert, not just to look good.

Third-party integrations

Xero, QuickBooks, ShipStation, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, inventory systems. Your shop connected to the rest of your business.

Platform

Shopify or custom-stack — we build both.

Shopify is the right choice for most product-led businesses. It is battle-tested, has a rich app ecosystem, and handles the hosting, security and PCI compliance for you. We build custom Shopify themes and headless Shopify setups that go well beyond the standard theme marketplace.

A custom-stack shop makes sense when you need full design control, unusual product structures, bespoke checkout logic or tight integration with systems that Shopify's app store cannot accommodate. Built in Next.js and fully managed by us — no platform subscriptions, no app store fees, just one monthly retainer.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I use Shopify or a custom-stack shop?

Shopify makes sense for product-led businesses that need a fast, proven platform with app ecosystem support. A custom stack makes sense when you need unusual product structures, bespoke checkout flows, tight integration with existing business systems, or when Shopify's per-transaction fees and recurring platform costs are a concern at scale. We build both and will tell you honestly which fits your business.

How much does e-commerce development cost?

A Shopify custom build typically runs £3,000 to £8,000 depending on theme complexity and integrations. A custom-stack shop with a full product catalogue, CMS, Stripe payments and third-party integrations typically starts at £6,000 and runs to £15,000+ for large catalogues or complex checkout flows. All pricing is fixed price against a written scope.

Can you migrate my existing shop?

Yes. We handle migrations from WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and bespoke platforms. Product data, customer records, order history and redirects — we scope the migration carefully and run a parallel environment so there is no downtime on launch day.

Do you integrate with our accounting and fulfilment systems?

Yes. We routinely integrate Xero, QuickBooks and Sage for accounting; ShipStation, Royal Mail and DPD for fulfilment; and Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Postmark for email marketing. If your system has an API, we can connect it.

How does hosting work for my shop?

We host and manage everything on our infrastructure. Your domain points to your shop, and we handle deployments, updates and uptime as part of your monthly retainer. If you use Shopify, your store sits in your Shopify account. No page builder fees, no proprietary CMS subscriptions.

How long does an e-commerce build take?

A focused Shopify custom build takes three to six weeks. A custom-stack shop with a large catalogue and multiple integrations typically runs six to twelve weeks. We scope and agree the timeline before we start.
